Obituary for Malcolm L. Morris

Malcolm L.  Morris
Malcolm L. Morris, 72, of Jacob, passed away at 7:22 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2018, at his residence in Jacob, Illinois.

Malcolm was born on October 21, 1946, in Shawneetown, Illinois, to George Lee Morris and Margie Wilmetta (Oxford) Morris.

Mr. Morris served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

He was a very good carpenter and had just retired as a truck driver.

Malcolm liked to fish, and he loved his dog Yadier, as well as the St. Louis Cardinals.

He is survived by his loving companion Rhonda S. Roseberry of Jacob;

three brothers Winfred "Sonny" Morris of Dale City, VA, Dennis Morris of Cape Coral, FL, and David Morris of Campbell Hill, IL;

two sisters Wilmetta Baird of Eldorado and Wanda Faye of AZ.;

seven nieces and four nephews;

and three other special people in his life Madison Stein, Maverick "Cowboy" Jones, and Ryan Ledbetter.

His body will be cremated and there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, Inc. or St. Jude's Children's Hospital. For more information, please visit www.pettettfuneralhome.com.
