Julia A.  Endres (Poe)
Julia A. (Poe) Endres, 77, of Murphysboro, passed away at 1:40 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, at her residence in Murphysboro.

Julia was born on March 7, 1941, in Murphysboro, to Dick Poe and Sarah (Dameron) Poe.

She had worked as a meat wrapper at several area grocery stores including Kroger, IGA in Marion, and National Foods for a total of twenty six years.

Up until her parent's death, she was active with the Williamson County Speedway and Poe Skating Rink. She was an avid fan of her husband, Gary's soft ball team the Martin Oilers. She supported the team as much as she could, plus she was the chief laundry lady of the uniforms.

Julia married Gary on December 28, 1957, in Marion, Illinois, and he survives.

Other survivors include three daughters JoAnn (Ralph) McKinney of Carterville, Toni (David) Endres-Deaton of Marion, and Tracy (Mark) Kelsay of Jackson, Missouri;

four grandchildren Tyson Deaton, Chris (Vickie) McKinney, Matt (Stacey) McKinney, and Jordan (Nathan) Burris;

three great grandchildren Bryar McKinney, Christopher McKinney, and Graeme McKinney;

one brother Richard Poe of Marion, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her body will be cremated. There will be gravesite services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Murdale Gardens of Memory.
