Obituary for Bonnie June Brouillette (Hughes)

Bonnie June Brouillette, 89, of Murphysboro, passed away at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018, at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois.

Bonnie was born on November 11, 1928, in Jackson County, Illinois, to Ed Hughes and Ella (Fricke) Hughes Evans.

Bonnie had worked at the Brown Shoe Factory and then later at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital. Then she worked as a service contract manager at Eddings Brother Heating and Cooling. She played the piano, shared Jesus with others, and loved animals. Mrs. Brouillette had attended the First Baptist Church in Murphysboro, and currently was attending the Community Bible Fellowship in El Paso, IL.

She married William L. Brouillette on June 1, 1947, and he preceded her in death on December 27, 2008.

Survivors include two children and their spouses Bruce (Jean ) Brouillette and Bonnie (Val) Boucher;

four grandchildren Travis (Jaimie) Brouillette, Heath (Maria) Brouillette, Autumn (Kevin) Stoller, and Nathan Boucher & Bethany;

thirteen great grandchildren Erika Grace Brouillette, Ethan Brouillette, Brooke Brouillette, Trae Kuhlman, Chase Kuhlman, Jaden Kuhlman, Hailey Tackett, Justin Tackett, Olivia Stoller, Savannah Stoller, Madilynn Harrison, Rhett Harrison, and Isaac Harrison;

and one sister Wanda (Jerry) Faupell.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Erika Nicole Brouillette, her parents, and one daughter in law Mary Elizabeth (Stein) Brouillette.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Pettett Funeral Home with Rev. Shaker Samuel officiating and burial Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
