Ralph Vincent Adams, 87, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, in Morganza, LA.

Ralph was born on September 21, 1929, in St. Mary's, Missouri, to Joseph and Maddie (Burgee) Adams.

Mr. Adams was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Morganza, LA.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Myrtle (Pinkerton) Adams;

two daughters Margaret Massel and her husband Murray Massel and Janis Adams;

three sons Steven Adams and his wife Marie Adams, Charles Adams, and Anthony Adams and his wife Rhonda Adams;

20 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren;

his loving companion, his dog Shadow;

and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by three sons Robert, Stanley, and Melvin Adams, six brothers, two sisters, and his parents Joseph and Maddie (Burgee) Adams,

A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017, at St. Andrew Church with Father Gary Gummersheimer officiating and burial at Worthen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and until 9:45 a.m. Monday at Pettett Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Worthen Cemetery.
