Obituary for Nila M. Turner Fedderke (Toler)

Nila M. Turner Fedderke, 89, of Murphysboro, passed away on June 27, 2017, in Carbondale.

She was born on September 22, 1927, in Alto Pass, Illinois to Ernest and Edna (McCormick) Toler.

Nila married Everett (Bud) Kelley and through that union, they had two sons Ernest "Ernie" Lee and Carrol "Shorty" Dewayne. In 1960, she married J. Lester Turner and he passed away in 2000. She then married William "Bill" Fedderke on April 15, 2006, and he survives.

Other survivors include one son Shorty Kelley (Lori), one step daughter Cynthia Talley;

one brother in law Bob Cross;

one daughter in law Eileen Kelley;

one grandson Bradley (Katrina) Kelley;

two step grandsons Jeff, Tony, Nick, and Bradley, two step granddaughters Sammie and Stephanie;

and four great grandchildren John Kelley and Dustin Kelley of Murphysboro and Michael and Christina;

three nephews Tony La Forte, Jerry Grammer, and Steve Grammer of Union, MO;

several great nieces and great nephews; and her dear friend Awanda House of Murphysboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Ernie, her sisters Cecile La Forte, Betty Cross, and Bonnie Lou Toler, and her brother Ernest Madison.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 1, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Josemon Hoem officiating with burial at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
