Joyce M.  Imhoff (Clover)
Joyce M. Imhoff, 74, of Murphysboro, passed away at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Joyce was born on March 12, 1941, in Gorham, Illinois, in Edward Clover and Ida (Mezo) Clover.

Mrs. Imhoff was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church near Murphysboro.

She was a florist and she was gardener. She enjoyed and was very good at canning, cooking and baking.

Joyce married John E. Imhoff on January 3, 1960, in Murphysboro, and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1993.

Survivors include three children Martin L. Imhoff and his wife Debra Reana Imhoff of Gorham, Nelson R. Imhoff of Murphysboro, and Cathy Imhoff-Sanders and her husband Bob Sanders of Makanda.

Joyce and her husband John raised and loved more children other than their own.

Other survivors include two grandchildren Jamie Eovaldi and her husband Frank Eovaldi of Murphysboro and Tim Imhoff and his wife Brie Imhoff of Murphysboro;

two great grandchildren Franklin Eovaldi and Wyatt Eovaldi of Murphysboro, and one more on the way;

one brother David Clover and Gaile Mayer of Gorham;

and one niece Sheila Stowers of Murphysboro.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death, two children in infancy, one nephew Brian Clover on January 1, 1996, her parents, and her inlaws Harold and Annabell Imhoff, who were like her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Pettett Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Cunningham officiating and burial at Murdale Gardens of Memory. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday until 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Joyce had always said that she would enjoy her flowers here, so the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the George Ford Medical Fund, Hospice of Southern Illinois, Inc., Celtic Hospice, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
