Obituary for Craig Paul Novack
Craig Paul Novack, 59, of Murphysboro, passed away at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, March 30, 2014, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Craig was born on May 5, 1954, in Murphysboro, Illinois, to Roger Carl Novack and Mary Ann (Cleiman) Novack.
He had worked as a coal miner at the Consol Coal Mine and also at Bost Trucking and for Wright's Do It Center.
Craig married Carolyn Crow on October 8, 1971, in Belleville, Illinois, and she survives.
Other survivors include two children Amy Gould and her husband Danny Gould and Quentin Novack, all of Murphysboro;
and four grandchildren Keeton Clover, Cody Gould, Cole Gould, and Rogie Gould.
He was preceded in death by two brothers Brett and Tim Novack, one sister Julianne Chaney, and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Pettett Funeral Home and burial at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
