Obituary for Donald L. O'Guinn
Donald L. O'Guinn, 59, of Murphysboro, Illinois, passed away at 12:25 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2013, in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
Donny was born July 6, 1954, in Carbondale, Illinois, to Norman E. O'Guinn and Delores E. (Baker) O'Guinn.
He was a former coal miner and a self-employed construction worker.
He was a Christian.
Donny married Raylene Bell on February 20, 1981, in Murphysboro..
He is survived by his mother Delores E. O'Guinn and his fiancee Raylene O'Guinn both of Murphysboro;
one son Douglas M. O'Guinn of Indiana;
three daughters Michelle O'Guinn of Pinckneyville, Shawna O'Guinn of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Allison Phillips of Ava;
seven grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his father and his brother Michael O'Guinn.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Monday, July 22, 2013, at Pettett Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Rogers officiating and burial at Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
