Obituary for Mae Cele Yearian
Mae Cele Yearian, 88, of Murphysboro, Illinois, passed away at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at the Frankfort Health Care and Rehab Center of West Frankfort, Illinois.
Her body will be cremated and a gravesite service will be held at Parrish Cemetery at 10 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2012. Pettett Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mae was born on May 30, 1924, in Sarcoxie, Missouri, to John Benton and Essie (Parrish) Benton.
She enjoyed gardening and planting and she was a very good cook.
Mae was preceded in death by her first husband Mr. Grammer, and her second husband Shirley Yearian, also, preceded her in death on April 23, 2005.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandy Cherry of Adolphus, KY;
and several grandchildren including Tracy Smith, of Johnston City, who took care of her.
